Visailia is a 15 year old Peruvian Paso mare that I purchased about a month ago. The people that I purchased her from told me she was very gentle and a easy rider. I can't even get her to accept anything from my hand. To catch her I need a bucket of oats. Once caught she seems to be okay, but I still haven't rode her as she seems very skittish.
I think maybe she is upset over the move, she has always shared a pen with other horses, but seems to be upset over sharing with my horses. Please prayers will be welcomed.
I have a 20/21 year old 16hh ISH chestnut mare who I own since the end of October 2008. Her previous owners "retired" her to a field with no rugs and completely exposed to the Irish elements (rain and wind)! I know very little of her history except that she was a successful low level SJ and hunter and that she's TERRIFIED of whips! I've been doing gentle desensitizing with a dressage whip (successfully), as she spooked reared and even tore off from them. When Samantha first arrived, her ribs and pelvis were visible and she had a very distant and vague look in her eyes. She was also very depressed for the first month and had barley any muscle on her. So I decided to do some massage and direct hands-on healing. All was going well until she injured her lower right hind leg, just before Christmas, while jumping small X-poles. She's been out of work since then and seems to becoming more distant again. She was never "bright and alert" as horses are meant to be and mentally switches off when doing basic flatwork, unlike when jumping. Personally I believe my mare has been traumatized at one stage or another and that a major part of her soul has gone but is slowly returning.
I hereby ask that you PLEASE send her some powerful healing towards her Mind (rid depression), Body (ligament injury) and Spirit (return of missing pieces). She has come a good bit since October and has put on plenty of condition, but I feel as though she's starting to slip away again. Could you also please advise me on any accupoints or other ways to relieve any (mental/physical) pain? I will NEVER give up on Samantha and I'll keep on trying, as far as I can go Thank you so much!
Sonny is my best friend whom I met when she was just 4 yrs old. She is a chestnut quarter horse mare who is now 21 years old. She and I have been together since she was 9.
She is full of life and her spirit is amazing. She is always "different" and by this I mean she has many "quirky" ways about her that all who meet her instantly recognize. Our relationship is so close, profound and deep meaning for both of us.
Sonny has had periods of Uveitis flare ups in recent years. I have recently (two days ago) learned that what I had suspected is apparently true....that she has minimal (to no) vision in her left eye now. Out vet assured me it was nothing that I "missed" , or did /did not do for Sonny. She felt that her vision loss was coming....and just reached a critical point where she is now mostly blind in that left eye. I would like to ask that Sonny is put in your Healing Circle please. She is my heart. She is very very strong and vibrant. I pray every day,not just recently, for her health and joy. I also am looking at all holistic, with conventional, healing treatments for her as well. She is very willing to participate in all forms of her health and healing with all our Guardian Angels, Source, and higher beings that we are always surrounded by....(as well as our human and equine angels too)!
